Jam with Jamie is an elite nationwide children’s musical entertainment and education company that specializes in interactive musical birthday parties, classes, education and events for babies to 10 years old. We have worked with companies such as American Express, Soho House, Facebook, and multiple celebrity clients. Our mission is to inspire the musician inside of every child and bring smiles to every event we are a part of! The Ideal Candidate:
~Has experience working with children, ideally performing at parties and/or teaching kids music classes for 2+ years (open to less if you think you have what it takes)
~Plays guitar, ukulele and/or keyboard (if you are a vocalist only, please still apply!)
~Sings well and is entertaining
~Understands the needs of an early childhood musical program
~Improvises well
~Has experience with lesson planning
~Has familiarity with a wide range of music from children’s classics to pop/rock, Broadway, folk etc.
~Be well-spoken and enjoy communicating with both adults and young children
~Has a good sense of humor
~Is a hard-working, energetic, self-starter who enjoys a challenge
~Has a warm, positive attitude and ability to work well with others
Hours/Schedule:
This is a part-time position for independent contractors
Training begins immediately
Hours vary depending on your availability
Payment: Paid
