Audition : Casting Call in Atlanta for Pilot “Eight Ball”

The “Eight Ball” series depicts the lives of teenage boys sent to live in a group home with an alcoholic coordinator and is run by her two adult children who have their own shortcomings and issues. The pilot episode follows Raymond Reid whose best friend, Royal, hides him away after he’s accused of committing a crime she’s certain is out of his character.
This pilot will film in late July/early August of 2021.
We’re casting for the following roles:
RAYMOND REID II – (African American male; 15-25 years old) 16-year-old high school student and champion wrestler. Loves his family, but is easily misjudged by his tough exterior.
ROYAL STRICKLAND – (African American female; 15-25 years old) Fast-talking, sassy 16-year-old best friend of Raymond; incredibly intelligent with an artistic flair.
SIERRA TRUMAN – (African American female; 25-40 years old) Sweet, spiritual, soft-spoken daughter of Margot Truman. Not a good judge of character.
MICHAEL ALBRIGHT – (White male; 35-50 years old) Detective on the hunt for Raymond.
TRACY REID – (African American female; 35-50 years old) Raymond’s mom; hardworking single mother who tries to raise her sons in a good environment after the loss of their father.
CHARLES TRUMAN – (African American male; 25-40 years old) Ex-pastor and son of Margot Truman who is out to find answers to his tragic past.
MARGOT TRUMAN – (African American female; 45-60 years old) Broken woman who is most comforted by the bottle, yet she has a heart to take boys into her home to save them from the fate her own son suffered.
TANISHA STRICKLAND – (African American female; 35–50 years old) Single mother of two, hardworking and brutally honest.
PARIS JONES – (Female; 25-40 years old) Wife of Martin Jones who consistently tolerates his unfaithful ways.
MARTIN JONES (Male; 30-45 years old) Sierra’s unapologetically promiscuous lover, and husband to Paris.
