The PACER, also known as a Multistage Fitness test or Beep test, is a 15 meter (or 49 feet) or 20 meter (or 65 feet) run between 2 markers. At Juanita Elementary, since the gym is small, we used the 15 meter PACER. On the 15 meter PACER Score Sheet, there are 13 Levels with 7 to 11 laps for each Level.

Does the beep test burn fat?
You will never see a fat person efficient at the beep test. The only people who ever do any good with this form of training are strong, muscular and lean.
What happens if you fail the PACER test? After two times where the individual fails to reach the line by the beep the test is complete. The two failed attempts to reach the line do not need to be consecutive. If a student remains at one end through TWO BEEPS the test is complete and the student goes to the cool-down area.

What is a 20m Hamr?
The 20m HAMR consists of running between two lines that are 20 meters apart along with timed beeps. You’ll stand behind a line and run to the other line when you hear a beep. When you reach the other line, you’ll turn around and begin running when you hear the following beep.
